Each Muzzle Monday post provides an opportunity to celebrate owners and their pets who use muzzles, share their "why we muzzle" stories as well as work to breakdown the stigma that "a muzzled dog is a bad dog".
This week, we are honored to share Pandora's Muzzle Monday Story!
Pandora is a gorgeous Doberman who lives with her family in Staffordshire, England.
Pandora's story is one that is filled with advocacy and highlights the importance of us as owners recognizing what our pets need! In Pandora's case, one of those needs is space.

Why does Pandora use a Muzzle?
We started to use a muzzle for Pandora because she likes her own space and we were having a lot of off - lead dogs approaching her even while she was wearing her awareness gear and us saying 'not friendly' people didn't seem to care so we decided to muzzle train her.
What has been a surprising benefit of muzzle training Pandora?
We have been able use it to also educate other people on the benefit of the muzzle. Not all dogs need it for the same reasons and if we can help spread the word then we will continue to do that.
How has muzzle training changed Pandora's life?
It has helped allow Pandora more freedom to be herself without the risk but also she is prepared for if she ever has to wear one in the future.
Because Pandora's owner has chosen to muzzle train, Pandora is able to continue to explore the world without her owners having to worry about an off lead dog approaching and not respecting her space!
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us as well as the Muzzle Supporting community!
Without you sharing your story, we wouldn't be able to do any of this!
